People there are sometimes very nice

During short visit to a friend in one of the shopping arcades there, the shop
owner next door brought me a plastic bag containing 'something' inside as
showing in the photo above

she said it is hand-made home-style 'snack' pronounced "Fan Sure
Gone"-------"Fan Sure" means Sweet Potato and "Gone" means Dry, or Dried Stuff(s).
The appearance was not
attractive but I knew what it was when I looked them at the first sight.
The shape was similar to its HK counterpart but the colour; it may be owing to
different in species. Besides, there were some odd colours and molds on
their surface
.
I didn't eat any as a result not because of the reason above but I don't like starch and am not a fan of sweet potato since Day One.
