Casio was in fact a manufacturing company selling innovative products since April 1946. The very first successful product was "Yubiwa Pipe". This product was a huge success that allowed its founder Tadao Kashio (Kashio = Casio?) and his younger brothers to develop their own electronic calculators. The first commercial viable product was launched in 1954 at a selling price JPY485,000! In 1957, the world's first all-electric compact calculator "14-A" was released.
Accumulating several years of digital watch making experience, the first G-Shock DW-5000C came out as a STAR......
